In 2002, WBC began Phase I of a two phase building project to significantly expand their facilities. Phase I, a Family Life Center (including a gymnasium, warm-up kitchen, mezzanine, and choir room) was completed and occupied in 2005.

Phase II of the project, a 750-seat worship center with offices, was begun that same year in order to qualify under a continuing permit with the Bureau of Labor & Industry (BL&I). In the Fall of 2006, under the leadership of John Summers (Project Manager), the Phase II Committee began plans to complete the new worship center at an approximate cost of $1.3 million.

Scenic Ridge Construction Company had already been contracted and work was begun in March of 2007. All BL&I requirements will be met by November of 2007 and the rest of the project will completed as the funds are raised through the generous gifts of our membership and friends.
