It is the aim of our Worship Department to promote the individual and corporate praise and worship of Jesus Christ! Through the use of the Arts and technology, WBC strives to provide as many avenues as possible for participation in worship ministry. If you are interested in participating in any of these opportunities, please leave a message at the church office.

Praise Team
The Praise Team consists of talented musicians that lead the worship. These gifted vocalists and instrumentalists present hymns and contemporary songs using culturally relevant styles. Participation in this group is by invitation but if you are interested, please contact the church office.

Youth Praise Team
This group of developing musicians performs at the Youth Coffee House and other venues. Youth that are interested in performing as a vocalist or instrumentalist need to be able to read beginning to medium level music. Contact your youth leader or the church office for more information.

Worship Choir
The worship choir is for anyone who wants to lead in worship with a group of very talented vocalists. This group prepares anthems in various styles to assist in leading worship. Rehearsals are on Sunday evening at 7:30 PM. If you are interested, just show up.

Event Choir
If you are interested in participating in a worship ministry with a short term commitment this is the group for you. The event choir prepares special presentations for Christmas and Easter. Rehearsals are on Sunday evening at 7:30 PM at the same time as the Worship Choir. This choir will rehearse first with the Worship Choir rehearsing immediately after the Event Choir ends. Interested? Just show up!

Children's Choir
Kids who enjoy music, drama, or just like to have fun should check this ministry out! Led by Merith Taylor, this group prepares fun presentations that are featured in our worship services. If you are interested, show up on Wednesday evenings at 7:30!

Accompanists
Pianists and organists assist in leading the worship. Accompanists need to be able to play medium to difficult levels of music. These gifted keyboardists also provide special music during the offertory.

Soloists
Soloists add to our worship by providing special music. We strive to not provide just a performance but another moment of worship that tie in to the congregational worship and the sermon.

Instrumentalists
On occasion we feature other instruments in our worship. These can be used as a part of the accompaniment or featured as special music.

Drama
This short term ministry provides sketches, on occasion, and develops the drama for special events such as Easter or Christmas cantatas. Talk to Joleen Furches if you are interested in participating in this ministry.

A/V Tech Team
This vital ministry is always in need of gifted tech volunteers. The tech team sets up the sound system, runs the mixer and provides the projected images during the worship services.
