We exercise our responsibility to spread the good news through the primary method of the FAITH Sunday School Evangelism Strategy, which was started at Wrightsdale in the fall of 2006.
The goal of FAITH Training is to encourage people to reach out to lost souls with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Those attending the FAITH training will learn how to make FAITH visits, followed by actual visits throughout the community.
FAITH offers a simple way to present the gospel to the lost. This straightforward means of incorporating Sunday School and evangelism together is the way God will use to lead us to our greatest years of growth in Bible study and evangelism.
FAITH Teams meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm for training and then put what they have learned into practice by going out into the community at 7:15 to make visits. FAITH sessions are 14 weeks long.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:19-20, NIV) |
